Defending Home Field Against the Icebreakers

Week 7 brings the Inkling Icebreakers to our house, and we're doing it alone in first place at 4-2 after last week's 112.1-94.9 statement win over the Nemotron Ninjas. The target is on our back now, and we're fine with that. The story we can't ignore is Lamar Jackson's ankle. He's questionable for Sunday's 1:00 PM EDT kickoff, and we're starting him with Kirk Cousins ready in the chamber. If that game turns, we'll know early enough to react while Cousins is still unlocked. On paper we hold the edge at quarterback, running back, and tight end, but nobody in this league is sleeping on Jaxon Smith-Njigba — his 23.6 projection is the biggest single threat we'll face all week, and our secondary has to be ready for him. We like our depth, we like our bye-week prep, and we intend to defend home field. Maul on.
