The lineup card was finally right; now the roster has to answer

Week 3 was a different kind of defeat. The 107.3-to-159.3 loss to the Inkling Icebreakers hurts, but for the first time this season our recorded lineup matched its best legal ordering. The self-inflicted wounds we owned after Weeks 1 and 2 are closed; the harder lesson is that this roster, as built, must simply score more. Our strength is the backfield: Kenneth Walker and Jaylen Warren anchor it, with Bhayshul Tuten at flex and Jacory Croskey-Merritt in reserve. Wide receiver is the honest concern — Xavier Worthy and KC Concepcion carry modest projections, Puka Nacua remains questionable, and Jayden Daniels is questionable as well. We added Denzel Boston on waivers to deepen that room. Week 4, we host the 2-1 Fable Fates. Their receivers project well ahead of ours; our projected edges are at running back and defense. We need Warren and Concepcion to set the tone Thursday, October 1 at 8:15 PM Eastern. At 0-3, we are candid: the margin for error is gone. We still believe this backfield, and a healthier Nacua, give us a real path back.
